Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking a proven Outside Sales Representative - Industrial (PVF and Automation) to fill an immediate need with growing market opportunities. This field-based sales role supports customers in the Corpus Christi, TX area and requires the individual to be based in that area. The company provides a fuel card, auto allowance, travel and expense card, company cell phone, and laptop. Ferguson has been a source of quality supplies for various industries since 1953, aiming to make customers' complex projects simple, successful, and sustainable.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years industry-related sales experience is required.
Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Ability to build relationships and enjoy a team environment.
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Problem-solving, leadership, and listening skills.
General digital literacy.
Self-motivator, ability to multi-task and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and an assigned customer base.
Work with other branch associates to ensure customer satisfaction with products and services, from order to delivery.
Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
Collaborate with management in developing sales strategies and new account targeting.
Perform duties including product quotation and problem resolution.
Analyze competition within the territory and devise sales strategies.
Communicate sales strategies to management.
Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image.
