Outside Sales Representative - In-Home Sales
About The Position
HANSONS is hiring motivated, high-performing Outside Sales Representatives to meet with homeowners through company-provided, pre-qualified appointments. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in consultative sales, enjoy closing high-ticket deals, and want unlimited earning potential backed by a steady flow of qualified leads. The company is a leading home improvement company looking for individuals with experience in in-home sales, home improvement sales, roofing, windows, siding, bath, HVAC, solar, or remodeling sales, direct sales or commission-based sales, one-call-close environments, or automotive, mattress, furniture, or high-ticket retail sales. Even candidates with no prior sales experience but who are motivated, coachable, and competitive can be developed into high-income earners, as many top performers come from backgrounds in customer service, retail, hospitality, athletics, and other people-focused industries.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience preferred, especially in-home or commission-based sales
- Strong closing, negotiation, and communication skills
- Confidence presenting to homeowners in a one-on-one setting
- Competitive, self-driven mindset with a desire to maximize income
- Ability to work independently and manage your schedule
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, performance-based environment
- Entrepreneurial attitude with a strong work ethic
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel locally to customer appointments
- An iPad is required for conducting sales presentations and managing customer information
- Ability to enter and navigate residential properties with varying layouts, stairs, and environmental conditions
- Ability to lift and carry sales materials or product samples weighing up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities
- Run 1–2 in-home sales appointments daily within an 60 mile radius of Saginaw, MI
- Meet with homeowners to present roofing, windows, siding, gutters, bath remodeling, and other exterior home improvement solutions
- Deliver consultative, relationship-driven sales presentations
- Use AI visualization tools to help customers envision project outcomes
- Measure projects and provide customized pricing solutions
- Present financing options with same-day approvals
- Close sales and create an exceptional customer experience from start to finish
