About The Position

Nippon Shokken U.S.A., the No.1 sauce company in Japan, is hiring an Outside Sales Representative in Schaumburg, IL. Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
  • Comfortable with 80% travel throughout the Chicago and its neighboring States.
  • Able to lift 40+ lbs (product samples and materials).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Coachable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship for employment visa status.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Able to lift over 40lbs.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Valid driver license & own transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Introduce premium sauces and seasonings to American food businesses.
  • Expand the company's presence beyond its traditional Asian customer base.
  • Report to the Chicago office each morning to plan your day and coordinate appointments.
  • Visit clients in your territory to maintain and develop business relationships.
  • Prepare sales contracts and process orders.
  • Track sales data and performance in our CRM system.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets with support from our experienced team.
  • Business travel assigned as needed (10 days per month at least).
  • Conduct cooking demonstrations to showcase our products.
