About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for its Pump & Power division. The primary function of this role is to generate profitable sales from the rental of large generators, air compressors, temperature control, and desiccant dehumidifiers. This position targets the Commercial market segment, serving customers who consistently use equipment for short-term use or long-term projects. The role requires an entrepreneurial and empowering approach, offering a career track, the leverage of current skills in a challenging role, and the opportunity to work with a great team.

Requirements

B2B direct sales AND/OR project management experience within the equipment industry required.
Strong project management skills.
Strong new business development skills.
Strong customer retention skills.
Ability to effectively give presentations and business reviews to management.

Nice To Haves

Power Generation and testing equipment background highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Generate profitable sales from the rental of the Pump & Power division’s fleet of equipment (Large Generators, Air Compressors, Temperature Control, and Desiccant Dehumidifiers).
Cater to the Commercial market segment, including industries such as Sand Blasting, Industrial Coating, Painting, Power Plants, Surface Preparation Contractors, Manufacturing/Processing Plants, Large Venues, Special Event Contractors/Coordinators, Facility Maintenance Contractors, Tent Rental Companies, Party Rental Companies, Remediation/Restoration, General Contractors, HVAC Contractors, Electrical Contractors, Construction Drying, Generator Service Contractors, Hospitals, Telecommunications, New Home Construction, Schools, Correctional Facilities, and College Campuses.
