About The Position

We are currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative specializing in our Closet products, to take responsibility for growing our local business region. Candidate must live in the sales territory. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for the overall relationship and management of day-to-day sales activities towards cabinet and furniture manufacturers, and residential and commercial woodworkers in his/her territory. You will engage in structured consultative sales discussions, both in person and virtually, ultimately serving as a business advisor towards your customers.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, optimally outside sales within the building materials or construction industries
  • Eager to learn, with a passion for providing solutions to customers and a drive to achieve successful sales growth
  • Highly motivated, able to self-direct and manage your own time and responsibilities, organize and plan
  • Able to learn and proficiently use our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) program
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; must be able to effectively use Excel, Word, Outlook for daily responsibilities and tasks
  • Must live in the sales territory

Nice To Haves

  • Prior knowledge of, or work with, closet storage solutions and product offerings
  • Knowledge or experience within these areas: building materials, bathroom or kitchen cabinetry, closets, millwork, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Grow local business region

  • Track daily activity, plan and optimize sales calls, and follow up with customers' requests or needs using CRM
