PSI has built its reputation on addressing customer packaging challenges with custom-engineered corrugated boxes. This position is for an Outside Sales Representative for the Lancaster, PA territory. It is a professional sales role for motivated individuals looking to start or advance their career. The role involves establishing new accounts and developing customer relationships within the Lancaster County area in a business-to-business environment. The ideal candidate is motivated by cold calling, developing new accounts, and possesses a self-starter attitude with a commitment to solving customer packaging needs and growing with the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other related field (or equivalent in work experience).
  • 3+ yrs of prior experience in an Outside Sales Representative role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge and experience with CRM systems.
  • Intermediate experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to calculate formulas, commissions, measurements, and percentages.
  • Willingness to make a commitment of time and effort to become part of a team producing quality specialized packaging in a safe, drug free environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop New, Profitable Accounts
  • Sell and Service Existing Contacts
  • Act as a Liaison between Clients, Vendors and Internal Staff
  • Prepare and deliver proposals & presentations
  • Maintain consistent contact with clients
  • Ensure Customer Specifications & Expectations are Met
  • Follow-up on past due accounts
  • Assist in preparing annual sales forecasts
