About The Position

The Outside Sales Rep is responsible for executing and delivering upon a defined set of Best Business Practices for the role, which includes prospecting, planning, prioritizing, territory management, sales, and developing leads and opportunities. The role requires the use of the Curbell Selling System, CRM, and other sales tools. Key responsibilities involve creating, implementing, and executing a sales plan to increase market share within a specific territory. The rep will develop strong relationships with strategic customers to maintain and grow sales and margin, develop proposals, contracts, and agreements for long-term business, introduce new materials and educate customers on their use, and acquire new customers through prospecting and lead follow-up. Additionally, the role involves selling value-added services and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Includes Prospecting, Planning, Prioritizing, Territory Management, Sales, Developing Leads and Opportunities, as well as using Curbell Selling System, CRM and Sales Tools.
  • Creates, implements and executes a sales plan to increase market share in a particular territory.
  • Develops a strong relationship with strategic customers by establishing rapport, thus maintaining and growing sales and margin with the existing customer base.
  • Develops proposals, contracts, and agreements to secure long term business.
  • Introduces new material to customers and educates them on use and applications.
  • Develops new customers by prospecting and lead follow-up.
  • Sells value-added services and solutions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
