About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative Trainee for its Jumpstart Program. This 9-month training course will provide hands-on experience in all aspects of the Sunbelt Rentals sales process, including training on the company's products and services. The program combines classroom training, job shadowing, and hands-on activities through rotations in different business lines to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each unique offering. Successful completion of the program will lead to an exciting and lucrative career in sales.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must be open to relocation upon successful completion of the program
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or Associate’s plus 1 year of related experience
• Previous experience in Sales or Customer Service preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and acceptable driving record history
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills
• High level of accountability, time management and willingness to learn all aspects of the business
• Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more
• Working indoors/outdoors when required by the job

Nice To Haves

• Solid negotiation and influencing skills a plus
• Exposure to construction industry is preferred but not required
• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience during a 9-month training course.
• Receive training on the vast array of products and services offered.
• Learn about the resources that equip the sales team for success.
• Participate in classroom training, job shadowing, and hands-on activities.
• Rotate through different business lines to understand unique offerings.
• Receive hands-on training in the installation of temporary fabric structures.
• Be able to pass a drug screening.
