About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative Trainee for its Jumpstart Program. This 9-month training course will provide hands-on experience in all aspects of the Sunbelt Rentals sales process, including training on their vast array of products and services. The program combines classroom training, job shadowing, and hands-on activities through rotations in different business lines to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each unique offering. Successful completion of the program will lead to an exciting and lucrative career in sales.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or Associates plus 1 year of related experience
• Previous experience in Sales or Customer Service preferred
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and acceptable driving record history
• Must be open to relocation on successful completion of program
• Must pass a drug screening
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• High level of accountability, time management and willingness to learn all aspects of the business
• Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more
• Working indoors/outdoors when required by the job

• Solid negotiation and influencing skills
• Exposure to construction industry
• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience during a 9-month training course.
• Receive training on the vast array of products and services offered.
• Participate in classroom training, job shadowing, and hands-on activities.
• Rotate through different business lines to understand unique offerings.
• Receive hands-on training in the installation of temporary fabric structures.
• Travel approximately 75% of the time nationwide during the training period.
