About The Position

We are Purcell Tire And Service Centers – We are everywhere on I-5. Aggressive on OTR, Heavy in mining, construction, and Ag. We are BIG on OTR + commercial, BUT we do retail + retread with locations in Renton, Lacey, and Monroe. This role involves 95% face-to-face selling to commercial fleets, construction, and logging outfits within a protected territory. The representative will build their own route, making 5-8 stops per day, and will be responsible for moving inventory, pushing programs, and aged stock. A key aspect of the role is serving as a trusted technical resource for customers, requiring knowledge of DOT codes, load range, and wear patterns. This position is not for someone who cannot talk shop.

Requirements

  • 2+ years outside sales in commercial/OTR tires, truck parts, lubricants, or heavy equip
  • Understand why a fleet manager cares about cost-per-mile, not just price-per-tire
  • Valid driver’s license + 3-year clean record (no DUIs)
  • Ability to pass background and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • You already know the customers from Olympia to Bellingham
  • Book of business is a plus, but not required
