About The Position

Saela is seeking a Certified Inspector for a hands-on, field-based role that combines sales with physical, on-site work. This position involves generating new business opportunities and driving revenue through customer-focused sales strategies. The role requires traditional sales skills, creativity to identify client needs, presenting tailored solutions, and building long-term relationships. It is not a desk-based or account management position, but rather an active role interacting directly with customers in the field. Saela is a rapidly growing, full-service pest control company operating in 9 states with 18 branch offices, known for consistently delivering exceptional service and strongly believing in promoting from within and mentoring employees for career growth.

Requirements

  • Comfortable with physical, hands-on work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, ladders, etc.)
  • Willingness to split time between sales and manual/field work
  • Strong communication and customer interaction skills
  • Self-motivated and adaptable in a field-based setting
  • Sales experience preferred in labor or pest control service.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Creative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to work independently, effectively manage time, and prioritize tasks.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in construction, HVAC, field service, or similar.
  • Prior experience performing inspections, and/or selling/servicing in HVAC, solar, internet, cable, running an independent route, face-to-face customer service, or other types of in-home technician experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed pest control inspections for residential customers.
  • Actively participate in hands-on tasks, including working in attics, crawl spaces, and tight areas.
  • Recommend customized pest control solutions based on inspection findings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Drive new business by identifying potential customers and presenting pest control solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and follow-ups.
  • Effectively manage your time, prioritize tasks, and work independently in the field.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and offering advice when needed.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the management team.
