The Sales Manager will manage accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business, ensuring all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. This role involves interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, coaching, and supporting associates to ensure they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values. The position aims to maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel to previous, current, and potential clients, using professional sales techniques to negotiate terms and conditions that satisfy customer requirements. The role also includes managing accounts, coordinating departmental participation in servicing accounts, maintaining hotel relationships with key accounts, developing and conducting persuasive sales presentations, articulating hotel benefits, traveling locally for outside calls, promoting the hotel, reviewing competition, representing the hotel at trade shows, and following sustainability guidelines related to HHM’s EarthView program.
