The Sales Manager will manage accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business, ensuring all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. This role involves maximizing revenue by selling all facets of the hotel to previous, current, and potential clients, using professional sales techniques to negotiate terms and conditions, and managing accounts to ensure solicitation and closing are complete and documented. The position requires coordinating various departments' participation in servicing accounts, maintaining hotel relationships with key accounts, developing and conducting persuasive sales presentations, articulating and leveraging hotel benefits to close sales, and traveling locally to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel, and review competition. The role also includes representing the hotel at trade shows and following sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
