About The Position

This role is focused on driving business growth by building relationships with local businesses and securing corporate event bookings. You will actively prospect and connect with companies, meet with decision-makers, and present event offerings as tailored solutions for team building, client entertainment, and company gatherings. The position is responsible for generating new business, managing your territory, and delivering a seamless experience from initial outreach to confirmed booking while consistently working toward and exceeding sales goals. Strong communication, negotiation skills, and experience in event planning are essential.

Requirements

  • A proactive self-starter who can generate new business through door-to-door networking, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Comfortable conducting in-person client meetings and delivering presentations.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to maintain and grow customer accounts.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and recommend effective solutions.

  • Advanced calendar management & attention to detail.

  • Must be available to work weekends, nights and holidays.
  • Must be 21 years or older (must be 19 years or older in Idaho).
  • Legally operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement sales strategies to attract and retain clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote events.
  • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities and adjust strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive Event Sales.
  • Oversee event budgets (when applicable) and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Track and report on sales performance and marketing metrics.
  • Work closely with event bookers, marketing, and site-location management.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Attend industry events to build connections and enhance brand visibility.
  • Follow Company guidelines for managing confidential information and guest satisfaction.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.
  • Operate in a cubicle/office & legally operate a motor vehicle.
  • Other duties may be assigned by Event Manager, and or Big Al’s Director’s Team.
