About The Position

Are you a purposeful sales professional with experience in Industrial Sales for Pipe, Valves, Fittings (PVF), and Commercial Plumbing Supplies? As an Outside Sales Account Manager, you will be the driving force behind our growth in the Birmingham market. You will manage and grow an assigned territory, utilizing your expertise to build strong, profitable customer relationships with both mechanical and industrial companies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in selling Pipe, Valves, Fittings (PVF), and Industrial Supplies is required.
• 5 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Adept with computers.
• Must live within a reasonable distance of the Mobile branch location.
• Ability to travel locally and regionally for sales calls about 70% of the time.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or CRM systems is ideal.
• Experience in Solar Eclipse is heavily preferred.
• Candidates that are within a reasonable distance to the branch are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Profitable selling, marketing, and promoting the company's extensive products and services to both current and potential customers.
• Executing a disciplined sales process with all assigned accounts, managing the entire lifecycle from initial inquiry and quotation through close, delivery, and follow-up.
• Facilitating customer-focused training events such as technical classes, lunch meetings, and business-related presentations.
• Providing prompt responses and exceptional customer service for all sales orders, keeping track of statuses and customer requirements.
• Ensuring close communication and collaboration with internal resources, including Inside Sales, Procurement, Accounting, and Product Specialists.
