Requirements

  • 2+ years of industrial sales experience (service/repair sales strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree (Sales, Marketing, Engineering) or Technical/2-year degree in an industrial discipline
  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to open new doors and close business
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with strong time and territory management abilities
  • Comfortable working in industrial environments and traveling within the territory
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel (including occasional overnight)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in one or more of the following is a plus:
  • Hydraulics
  • Electronics repair
  • Robotics / servo systems
  • Industrial/mechanical components

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow your territory – develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand market share
  • Drive new business through proactive prospecting, cold outreach, and lead qualification
  • Manage and expand existing accounts by strengthening relationships and identifying new opportunities
  • Conduct in-person customer visits with plant managers, maintenance teams, and decision-makers
  • Deliver technical sales presentations and solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Partner with inside sales, customer service, and technical teams to win and retain business
  • Utilize CRM and sales tools to manage pipeline, forecast, and territory activity
