About The Position

NorthEast Electrical is seeking a Full-time, Outside Salesperson to join our Industrial team based in Brockton, MA! This role is a commissioned base position with hours from Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. A career at NorthEast Electrical is more than a job; it's an investment in a brighter, more sustainable future. As a member of the Outside Sales team, you will be responsible for growing an existing customer base and developing new customer business through consistent customer visits, joint sales calls, and entertainment events. You will also be responsible for selling our Digital platform to enhance the customer buying experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with emphasis on business and/or equivalent knowledge through job related experience and training.
  • Minimum of 4 years Industry and Product knowledge preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel and Website navigation.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to develop short and long term goals.
  • Driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain favorable relationships with new and existing customers to increase revenue and gross margin performance.
  • Analyze customer needs and ensure NorthEast's products and services meet those needs, emphasizing capabilities with Digital Tools.
  • Participate in ongoing training for Digital Tools.
  • Continuously develop and offer original value-add solutions as customer needs change.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers and use industry and product knowledge to support sales.
  • Work with internal company resources to ensure customers receive excellent service on day-to-day stock sales.
  • Bridge the relationship between customers and internal support teams to drive project business.
  • Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager to support company strategic initiatives.
