About The Position

SumUp is hiring an Outside Sales Account Executive for the greater Chicago Area. This is a Field Sales role where you will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, including territory-based prospecting and canvassing. You will build a sales pipeline by developing relationships with local businesses, selling a payment and loyalty solution. This role requires research, cold calling, and door-to-door outreach, with a focus on understanding and meeting customer needs. The goal is to help local businesses thrive by providing them with a payment and loyalty solution that makes them the heartbeat of their community.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of sales experience
  • Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in retail, hospitality, B2B and/or SAAS sales is always a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Full sales cycle management including territory based prospecting and canvassing
  • Cold Calling for new business leads
  • Research
