About The Position

SumUp is hiring an Outside Sales Account Executive for the greater Minneapolis Area. This is a Field Sales role where you will be responsible for building a sales pipeline by developing relationships with local businesses. You will sell a payment and loyalty solution that helps small enterprises thrive. The role requires research, cold calling, and door-to-door sales, with a focus on empathy and understanding customer needs. SumUp is a fast-growing fintech firm that supports local families and businesses by enabling quick and simple payment processing both in-store and online. With over 3000 employees and operations in 34 countries, SumUp is relied upon by merchants of all sizes.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of sales experience
  • Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in retail, hospitality, B2B and/or SAAS sales

Responsibilities

  • Full sales cycle management including territory based prospecting and canvassing
  • Cold Calling for new business leads
  • Research
