The purpose of this position is to maximize sales volume by calling on and developing relationships with customers.

Requirements

Customer Service focused.
Able to work through multiple transactions and/or interactions simultaneously.
Oral and written communication to include simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to present information in a one-on-one or a group situation.
Compute whole, fraction, and decimal numbers with a calculator.
Compute rate, ratio, and percent and depict in graphs.
Basic computer usage and navigation knowledge.
Intermediate Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

Certificate from a two year college or vocational school.
6 months Internal and/or External Sales Experience or equivalent training
Driver’s License
Clean MVR Record

Responsibilities

Solicit parts business from assigned accounts through face to face and phone contact.
Prospect for new customers and develop sales territory.
Maintain current customer relationships.
Answer phone and take orders.
Communicate with customers regarding status of orders.
Assist customer in finding correct parts, pricing, and availability.
Research parts requests and process orders and communicate to client information obtained.
Advise customer of changes to orders in a timely manner.
