About The Position

Maximize sales volume by calling on and developing relationships with customers. This role involves soliciting parts business from assigned accounts through face-to-face and phone contact, prospecting for new customers, and developing the sales territory. The position requires maintaining current customer relationships, answering phones, taking orders, and communicating order status to customers. Additionally, the role involves assisting customers in finding correct parts, pricing, and availability, researching parts requests, processing orders, and advising customers of any changes in a timely manner. Other duties may be assigned as job duties are not comprehensive and should not be construed as such. This job description is subject to change.

Requirements

• Customer Service focused.
• Able to work through multiple transactions and/or interactions simultaneously.
• Oral and written communication to include simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to present information in a one-on-one or a group situation.
• Compute whole, fraction, and decimal numbers with a calculator.
• Compute rate, ratio, and percent and depict in graphs.
• Basic computer usage and navigation knowledge.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

• Certificate from a two year college or vocational school.
• 6 months Internal and/or External Sales Experience or equivalent training
• Driver’s License
• Clean MVR Record

Responsibilities
