About The Position

M&K Truck Centers is seeking an Outside Parts Sales Representative who enjoys relationship-based selling, values long-term customer partnerships, and is equally comfortable expanding business through new customer development. This role involves managing and growing an assigned territory by supporting existing accounts and building new customer relationships, developing long-term partnerships through consistent customer contact and solution-based selling, and proactively seeking and developing new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, and market awareness. The salesperson will sell OEM truck parts for Mack and Volvo, focusing on meeting customer parts needs quickly and accurately, and will proactively call on fleet customers, repair facilities, owner-operators, and other prospective accounts. Sales growth will be driven through relationship-based selling, regular customer visits, and consistent follow-up. The role also includes identifying new customers, expanding wallet share within existing accounts, staying current on Mack and Volvo parts offerings, product updates, and promotions, and promoting OEM parts programs, pricing initiatives, and dealership-supported specials. Responsibilities also include accurately writing parts orders, ensuring proper pricing, confirming availability, partnering closely with the inside parts team for excellent customer execution and fulfillment, providing management with key customer insights, territory feedback, and market intelligence, and meeting or exceeding territory sales goals, market penetration objectives, and profitability expectations. The representative will also represent M&K Truck Centers professionally and consistently in the field.

Requirements

  • A relationship-focused sales professional who also enjoys developing new business
  • Experience in heavy-duty truck parts or automotive parts sales
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial vehicles, diesel parts, OEM and aftermarket products
  • 3–5+ years of outside sales or direct customer-facing experience
  • Excellent communication, listening, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong time management and organizational habits
  • Comfortable with CRM systems and computer-based sales tools
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and customer-focused

Responsibilities
