Outside Parts Sales Representative
About The Position
Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Wholesale/Outside Sales Partsperson to join their team at Kendall Ford Lincoln of Anchorage. The parts department serves technicians within the dealership and clients in the community by selling OEM and aftermarket parts. This role involves selling parts to auto body shops, independent repair facilities, and other wholesale businesses through various communication channels. The position requires maintaining inventory records, assisting wholesale customers, obtaining parts information, resolving issues, processing orders, returns, and warranties, and receiving parts. The role also serves as a backup for the retail parts person. Effective communication, the ability to make recommendations, and prioritize tasks are essential. Daily visits to wholesale customers and parts delivery are expected.
Requirements
- Automotive parts experience.
- Inventory control experience.
- Knowledge of electronic parts catalogue.
- Knowledge of manufacturer programs and warranties.
- Good driving record.
- Valid driver license.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with manufacturer specific catalogues is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Selling parts to auto body shops and independent repair facilities and other wholesale business via phone, fax, email internet or direct sales.
