About The Position

Wallwork is hiring an Outside Parts Sales Representative to serve assigned accounts, grow heavy truck parts sales, and deliver parts to businesses in the surrounding area. This position offers a mix of sales, customer service, and hands-on work—ideal for someone who likes variety and takes pride in following through for customers. The role involves visiting and contacting assigned customers to understand their parts needs, provide service, and generate sales. It also includes prospecting for new customers, developing new accounts, submitting orders, following up on sales, and coordinating deliveries and returns. Additionally, the representative will deliver parts using company vehicles, load and unload parts, operate warehouse equipment, process returns, and ensure safety protocols are followed. Staying current on products and industry information, maintaining dependable attendance, and providing professional customer service are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in the heavy truck parts industry and/or sales.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly.
  • The ability to read and follow instructions, stay organized, and work independently.
  • The ability to handle changing priorities and work effectively with customers and coworkers.
  • The ability to perform the hands-on duties of the role, including loading and unloading parts, lifting and carrying, bending, and working around vehicles and warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Visit and contact assigned customers to understand their parts needs, provide service, and generate sales.
  • Prospect for new customers and develop new accounts.
  • Submit customer parts orders, follow up on sales, and coordinate deliveries and returns.
  • Deliver parts using company vehicles, including a pickup and gooseneck trailer where applicable.
  • Load and unload parts and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Process core, battery, warranty, and new-part returns according to company procedures.
  • Complete vehicle safety checks, operate equipment safely, and promptly report safety concerns.
  • Stay current on products and industry information so you can better support customers.
  • Maintain dependable attendance and provide professional, responsive customer service.
