About The Position

As an Outside Parts Sales Representative, you’ll own your territory, build strong customer relationships in the field, and drive revenue growth through strategic prospecting and service excellence. Working directly with fleet operators, transportation companies, and refrigeration customers, you’ll provide solutions that keep their businesses moving. We’re looking for a competitive, self-motivated sales professional who thrives on hunting new business, building lasting relationships, and outperforming goals. Success in this role comes from hustle, consistency, and the ability to create opportunities where others see obstacles — all while driving territory growth and closing deals that make an impact.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong relationship-building and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
  • Excellent communication and follow-through
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, including overnight stays as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Transportation, trucking, fleet, diesel, refrigeration, APU, EPU, or TRU industry experience
  • Parts sales background
  • CRM/Salesforce experience

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities weekly
  • Build and grow long-term customer relationships
  • Execute frequent face-to-face sales calls and territory visits
  • Drive parts sales growth and maximize territory profitability
  • Identify customer pain points and recommend solutions quickly
  • Develop pricing proposals and close new business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate customer activity and pipeline reporting in Salesforce
  • Collaborate with leadership on sales strategy, margins, and growth opportunities
  • Increase dealer awareness through promotions, events, and field visibility
  • Represent MCT at trade shows, customer events, and industry functions
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with urgency and professionalism
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity within your territory
