About The Position

Responsible for all outside operations and management protocols set forward by the Director of Golf. Supervises all personnel in operation of club-owned carts, procedures, member services, driving range, and all outside operations. This individual will be responsible for setting the example of outstanding member services and procedures that will be in accordance with the Director of Golf.

Requirements

High School, College Education (Bachelor’s degree)
Registered Level 1 or 2 PGA Associate
Experience in high end country club environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Supervise and direct all outside team members in member services under guidelines set forth by Director of Golf.
Responsible for scheduling, training, and supervision of all outside/cart attendant personnel.
Supervision of daily setup of all practice facilities to club standards.
Responsible for all club-owned and member-owned/club stored golf carts.
Responsible for cleanliness in cart barn, driving range, bag room, and all surrounding areas adhering to club standards.
Creates a feeling of overall Hospitality, Warmth and Energy through interactions with Members and Staff.
Responsible for genuine hospitality to all Members and guests, that compliments the service-centric culture of the Club.
Maintains high visibility, regularly communicating and interfacing with Members, both in person and through structured written communications.
Is a “Steward of the Brand,” ensuring the intention of the Mission, Vision and Guiding Principles for the Club is understood through actions, practices, processes and through discussions.
Takes a “Coaching and teaching” approach to team member development and directs corrective action procedures as necessary.
Responsible for hiring, coaching, disciplinary action, and ensuring proper documentation is completed.
Focused on continued development of a culture in which all staff are committed creating “wow” moments for Members and guests.
Works closely with Club partnerships and approved consultants to ensure successful recruitment, retention and performance of the team members who represent the Organization.
Greets guests and maintains a visible and approachable presence throughout the operation.
Responds to Member/guest complaints and promptly addresses their concerns.
Holds and attends regular team meetings for reports, developing alignment across all areas of responsibility.
As a “Team Player” of Boca Woods Country Club, the Clubhouse Manager must be flexible and is required to perform any job, in whatever capacity, as requested by the General Manager that may be necessary for the smooth operation of Boca Woods Country Club.
