As an Outside Food Sales Representative, you will cultivate relationships, develop new business, and provide innovative solutions to customers in the Naples/Fort Meyers, FL area, helping them achieve their goals. This role involves pursuing new customers, deepening existing customer relationships, and managing your sales territory.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pursuing new customers by researching industry and market trends, identifying prospective customers, developing sales strategies, and presenting them.
• Deepening and strengthening existing customer relationships through regular visits, business reviews, and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Providing ongoing training to customers on Gordon Food Service product offerings.
• Identifying opportunities within existing customers' businesses where Gordon Food Service can add value.
• Managing the sales territory by balancing new customer acquisition with existing customer relationship management.
• Coordinating visits to prospective and existing customers.
• Communicating order status and order processing updates to customers.
