About The Position

As an Outside Food Sales Representative, you will cultivate relationships, develop new business, and provide innovative solutions to customers, helping them achieve their goals. This position is located in Brevard County, FL.

Requirements

• A high school diploma/GED is required.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Maintaining a valid, unrestricted state driver's license and a safe driving record.
• If applicable, must participate in the company vehicle reimbursement program and maintain required insurance levels.
• Ability to obtain your food safety certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pursuing new customers by researching industry and market trends, identifying prospective customers, and developing sales strategies.
• Deepening and strengthening existing customer relationships through regular visits, business reviews, and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Providing ongoing training to customers on Gordon Food Service product offerings.
• Identifying opportunities within existing customers' businesses where Gordon Food Service can add value.
• Managing the sales territory by balancing new customer acquisition and existing customer relationship management.
• Coordinating visits to prospective and existing customers.
• Communicating order status and order processing updates to customers.
