Curtis Lumber is seeking an Outside Sales representative for its Hoosick location. This role is responsible for working directly with customers and contractors in face-to-face situations at jobsites and customer locations. The primary goal is to grow sales and the customer base through direct sales efforts, driving and expanding contractor business by maintaining and growing existing accounts, and aggressively prospecting for new customers and markets. The representative will visit jobsites and customers at their business sites, meet with customers for product selection and questions, estimate material needs from blueprints, develop business relationships, and schedule deliveries to meet customer needs while ensuring profitability. A business support team, including sales management, inside sales, and vendors, will be established for customer utilization.
