About The Position

The DH Pace Company is seeking an Outside Commercial Sales Representative to join their Entry Door Division in Houston, Texas and surrounding areas. This role involves selling specialty doors, automatic operators, hollow metal doors and frames, and door hardware. The representative will be responsible for cultivating new customers, fostering long-term relationships, and directly impacting sales. This is an opportunity for individuals with a strong sales aptitude and business development skills.

Requirements

  • Must have entry door experience.
  • Must possess a Valid Driver’s License.
  • Possess an ability for technical applications and mechanical systems.
  • Proficient with Windows based programs and sales tools.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of three (3) years of outside sales experience calling on business to business, ideally calling on commercial accounts selling new construction and retrofit projects to both end-users and contractors.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

  • Call on commercial and industrial accounts meeting with decision makers to professionally present commercial entry door product lines.
  • Engineer a door solution for customers such as schools, hospitals, industrial buildings, and municipalities.
  • Develop scope of work for each proposal and personally handle every detail from initial call to closing the sale.
  • Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards.
  • Provide timely, accurate estimates and proposals.
  • Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM) daily.
  • Other duties as assigned.
