About The Position

The DH Pace Company, Inc., a family-owned and privately held business with over $1 billion in annual sales and 60+ offices across the continental United States, is seeking an Outside Commercial Sales Representative for its Entry Door Division. This role will focus on selling specialty doors, automatic operators, hollow metal doors and frames, door hardware, and electrical hardware to commercial and industrial accounts in Houston, Texas, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a talent for sales and business development, with the opportunity to directly impact sales by cultivating new customers and fostering long-term relationships.

Requirements

  • Must possess a Valid Driver’s License.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based programs and sales tools.
  • Ability for technical applications and mechanical systems.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of three (3) years of outside sales experience calling on business-to-business clients, ideally commercial accounts selling new construction and retrofit projects to both end-users and contractors.
  • Experience selling "mechanical" type products.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

  • Call on commercial and industrial accounts, meeting with decision-makers to present commercial entry door product lines and engineer door solutions for clients such as schools, hospitals, industrial buildings, and municipalities.
  • Develop scope of work for each proposal and manage all details from initial contact to closing the sale.
  • Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards.
  • Provide timely and accurate estimates and proposals.
  • Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM) daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
