About The Position

Child & Family Service (CFS) is seeking an Outreach Worker to provide support and assistance to children, youth, and families in the community. This role provides outreach, information and referrals, transportation assistance, skill building, role modeling, and childcare support to help participants achieve their goals and access needed resources. This role is 10 hours a week.

Requirements

• Up to and including high school education.
• Basic education to understand and follow standard practice or oral and written instructions.
• Able to read and write.
• Able to use simple arithmetic.
• Able to keep simple records.
• Able to use simple office machines like computers and photocopy machines.
• High School Degree or GED required.
• Six months or less experience.
• Child and infant care experience is required.
• Valid Hawaii driver's license.
• Clear driver's abstract.
• Use of personal vehicle to transport clients, as needed.
• Willingness to travel in personal vehicle on an as-needed basis throughout the island.
• Use of agency vehicle to transport clients, as needed.
• Subject to a criminal background investigation, and continued employment is contingent on a record clear of convictions.
