About The Position

This role is responsible for building, developing, and maintaining trusted relationships within law enforcement and referral networks to ensure Aftermath Services is the first and preferred call following traumatic incidents. This is not a traditional sales position - it is a relationship-driven, field-based role focused on trust, visibility, and long-term referral generation. Success in this role directly impacts referral volume, market share, and brand reputation within law enforcement and community partners.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with Chiefs, Command Staff, Detectives, Victim Advocates, Chaplains, and Coroners/Medical Examiners.
  • Conduct consistent in-person visits and maintain a strong field presence across assigned territory.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value agencies and execute structured territory plans.
  • Drive referral activity through trust-based engagement and consistent follow-up.
  • Represent the company at conferences, tradeshows, training sessions, and community events.
  • Track and manage all contacts, outreach, and engagement within CRM (HubSpot).
  • Build, maintain, and continuously verify an accurate database of agencies and key personnel.
  • Provide guidance and support to Field Supervisors assisting with outreach efforts.
  • Monitor competitor activity and contribute to offensive and defensive market strategies.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and accountability to activity and performance goals.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory, including occasional overnight commitments.
  • Minimum 3-4 days per week conducting in-person field visits across the assigned territory.
  • Overnight stays required when territory geography or event scheduling necessitates extended coverage.
  • Attendance at regional and national conferences, law enforcement tradeshows, and community events, which may include multi-day travel commitments throughout the year.
  • Flexibility to respond to unplanned or time-sensitive field opportunities as they arise.
  • Develop a structured weekly routing plan that maximizes agency touchpoints and minimizes unnecessary travel gaps.
  • Visit high-priority agencies and newly identified targets with greater frequency and document within HubSpot.
  • All business travel expenses are reimbursable in accordance with the company travel and expense policy.
  • Enter all contacts and agency interactions into HubSpot within 48 hours or by end of week (EOW).
  • Maintain regular, structured follow-up with existing contacts to strengthen relationships and sustain referral activity.
  • Track and document ongoing outreach efforts, including calls, visits, and touchpoints, consistently within HubSpot.
  • Submit weekly field summaries for review by direct leadership as part of ongoing performance management.
