About The Position

Evergreen Energy Partners is a virtual full-service energy efficiency firm with team members across the United States. The Outreach Specialist recruits, enrolls, activates, and supports new and underparticipating trade allies in Rocky Mountain Power’s Wattsmart Business program. This market-facing business-development role develops relationships with contractors, distributors, manufacturer representatives, customers, and other market actors; helps new trade allies identify and submit their first projects; and follows through until partners participate consistently. Success is measured by active trade ally participation, qualified opportunities advanced, projects submitted, and energy savings generated through the trade ally network. The successful candidate is customer-focused, organized, responsive, and comfortable initiating conversations and building rapport. They take ownership of assigned opportunities, follow commitments through to completion, communicate proactively about delays or barriers, adapt to changing priorities, and escalate technical or policy questions to subject-matter experts when appropriate. This is a fully remote position. The employee must reside along Utah’s Wasatch Front, preferably in Salt Lake County, and be able to travel throughout the assigned service territory. The role offers flexibility in line with responsibilities, though some evening, early morning, and weekend meetings and events are inherent in the position. A dedicated, fully equipped home office, reliable phone, and solid internet connection are required. Evergreen provides a computer, two monitors, monitor stand, speakers, webcam, docking station, wireless keyboard and mouse, and surge suppressor. A valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and verifiable insurance are also required. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
