About The Position

We’re seeking an accomplished Director of Outreach to lead occupancy growth through strategic outreach, relationship‑based selling, and decisive closing. The Director of Outreach manages the Health Center admissions process and maintains relationships with physicians, discharge planners, and other care providers as well as prospective residents/guests and their families. The job will require both a of mix of external business development as well as inside sales support as needed.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of successful sales experience (senior living strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to close high‑stake, compassionate sales
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, or related field (preferred)
  • Management experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting the heath center’s sales and occupancy levels in accordance with the strategic marketing plan.
  • Develops positive relationships with the discharge planners, physicians and families, marketing The Birches programs and services.
  • Assesses potential residents/guests, reviews their medical records, and determines whether they should be admitted for care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, case managers and other interdisciplinary team members.
  • Obtains prior authorizations as required.
  • Reviews all admission related paperwork with the resident and or/responsible party including financial data, signatures, pertinent social information and medical information, attending physician information, Medicare Part A coverage and non-coverage procedures, and other pertinent and required documentation.
  • Coordinate pre-admission process to include clinical communication of needs, pharmacy needs, financial information, durable medical equipment needs, etc.
  • Manages Salesforce data entry daily.
  • Manages the health center’s public relations to include health fairs, screenings, center education programs (CEU’s), and outreach.
  • Works in conjunction with LCS to create and disseminate relevant marketing collateral.
  • Manage a mix of external business development as well as inside sales support, as needed.
