About The Position

Enable Ireland is seeking a highly-motivated Outreach Respite Manager to join their team in Limerick Family Support Services, Limerick. This is a Full Time Permanent Contract position, working 35 hours per week. The role involves the development, management, and delivery of a range of respite services in the region, including day, evening, and weekend respite, afterschool support, summer activity sessions, and future alternative respite services across the Southeast. The post holder will be responsible for managing staffing, budgets, and ensuring the highest standards of respite care. This includes planning, developing, managing, and reviewing services in line with identified needs and Enable Ireland’s Strategic Plan. The role requires ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and policies, maintaining a child-centered approach, and upholding best practices in clinical care. The successful candidate will also line manage, support, supervise, and ensure appropriate training for the staff team.

Requirements

  • Recognised third level qualification in Nursing or Social care relevant to the post
  • Experience working with children with disabilities
  • Previous management/supervisory experience relevant to the role
  • Experience leading and managing teams and resource management
  • Full drivers license and access to own transport
  • Must have a right to work in the country
  • Be CORU/NMBI registered

Responsibilities
