About The Position

This position assesses community behavioral health needs, provides input for facility strategic planning, business development, community outreach and maintains ongoing communication with key facility referral sources to promote information about Peace’s services. It also provides customer service with coordination of patient care and the ability to discuss treatment/recommendations with referral sources. Level of Care Assessments may be provided as needed.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a human services field (required)
• At least 2 years’ experience in a behavioral health setting working independently in marketing, business development or clinical setting (required)

• Record of working with or building relationships with other community resources (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Reviews referral source data and track trends from referral sources in territory
• Initiates face to face contact with referral sources throughout the assigned region by conducting outreach visits to their agencies
• Maintains positive referral source relationships in targeted regions
• Responsible for processing referral source complaints working directly with the Director Behavioral Health Outreach and appropriate administrative personnel in developing strategies to resolve concerns and improve services
• Participates in monthly department meetings
• Completes other outreach duties as assigned
• Abides by the Standards of Conduct in addition to all applicable state and federal regulatory requirements
• Demonstrates a commitment to the presentation of a professional image in the workplace with regard to dress, personal appearance and hygiene
