About The Position

This position will assess community behavioral health needs, provide input for facility strategic planning, business development, community outreach and maintain ongoing communication with key facility referral sources to promote information about Peace’s services; provide customer service with coordination of patient care; ability to discuss treatment/recommendations with referral sources. Provide Level of Care Assessments as needed.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a human services field (required)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a behavioral health setting working independently in marketing, business development or clinical setting (required)

  • Record of working with or building relationships with other community resources (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Reviews referral source data and track trends from referral sources in territory
  • Initiates face to face contact with referral sources throughout the assigned region by conducting outreach visits to their agencies
  • Maintains positive referral source relationships in targeted regions
  • Responsible for processing referral source complaints working directly with the Director Behavioral Health Outreach and appropriate administrative personnel in developing strategies to resolve concerns and improve services
  • Participates in monthly department meetings.
  • Completes other outreach duties as assigned
  • Abides by the Standards of Conduct in addition to all applicable state and federal regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrates a commitment to the presentation of a professional image in the workplace with regard to dress, personal appearance and hygiene
  • Abides by UofL Health policies regarding attendance and timeliness as applies
  • Achieves excellence through teamwork by working with others to provide desired outcomes
  • Exhibits willingness to learn/perform tasks outside the scope of his/her regular job duties and/or work additional hours/shifts as necessary to meet customer needs
  • Completes all assigned Annual Competencies and KNOW Modules by due date.
