About The Position
This is a part-time Outreach Athletic Trainer position with rotating shifts, providing on-site athletic training coverage for assigned events. The role involves injury evaluation, immediate care, emergency response, and documentation. The position is located at Dallas College-Richland Soccer Complex.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
- Bachelor’s Degree (REQUIRED)
- LAT – Licensed Athletic Trainer certification upon hire (REQUIRED)
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (REQUIRED)
Nice To Haves
- Six months of experience as an Athletic Trainer (PREFERRED)
Responsibilities
- Provide injury evaluation, immediate care, and emergency response, including first aid, CPR/AED use, activation of EMS, and coordination of care under supervising physician protocols.
- Deliver on-site athletic training coverage for assigned events, including preparation, coordination with event contracts, and implementation of Emergency Action Plans (EAPS).
- Complete timely and accurate injury documentation and communicate care coordination while maintaining patient confidentiality.
