Outreach Associates are responsible for building relationships with qualified referral partners in the Houston, TX territory, for the purpose of facilitating admissions to American Addiction Centers Treatment Programs. This role requires identifying, building, and maintaining relationships with key referral partners, managing a regular servicing schedule that balances referral partner maintenance and new business development. The associate will manage all client-related communication and CRM remotely via AAC-provided smart mobile devices, with communication frequently falling outside regular business hours, including weekends. The position requires the ability to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, and problem-solve through various scenarios. Responsibilities include conducting quality presentations for agencies, hospital staff, discharge planners, and other identified groups, building and maintaining productive interdepartmental relationships, adhering to expense limitations and guidelines, and submitting monthly expenses via Expensify by the designated deadline. Clear communication with key team members regarding potential admits and clients in the pipeline is essential. The role also involves assisting the clinical team with discharge planning, including identifying and contacting appropriate facilities for transfer of care when needed. Knowledge of managed care and insurance as it relates to mental health benefits is a plus. Outreach Associates must possess the skills and competency to communicate with people at all levels of the organization, including executive management, patients, and external agencies.
