About The Position
Foundation Christian Church (FCC) is seeking an Outreach and Development Pastor to pioneer and establish new ministries and outreach opportunities aligned with the church's mission. This role is entrepreneurial, evangelistic, and shepherding, aiming to reach the lost, empower the saved, and develop the church body. The pastor will foster relationships with community organizations, lead discipleship and evangelism efforts, train the congregation in outreach, identify populations for service, teach spiritual development classes, and assist the lead pastor with preaching and sermon series development. This position requires a godly man with integrity, character, humility, and a servant's heart, who actively participates in the Great Commission and resonates with FCC's mission to build foundations on Christ.

Responsibilities
- Initiate and develop outreach strategies to engage the community with the gospel.
- Foster relationships with nonprofits and organizations in the Auburn Hills area to create opportunities to serve.
- Meet biweekly with 5 individuals for discipleship or evangelism.
- Provide training to equip the congregation to engage in outreach and evangelism.
- Identify underprivileged and needy populations for FCC to serve.
- Teach spiritual development classes for the church.
- Provide exegetical preaching to assist the lead pastor on Sunday mornings (frequency to be determined).
- Assist lead pastor in development of sermon series.
- Meet weekly with the lead pastor to discuss progress and plan for future events.
- Recruit, train, and launch teams to lead new ministry initiatives.
- Partner with Reliant to raise personal financial support for salary.
