About The Position

The Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CPMG) Department of Medical Imaging is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified/board-eligible full-time thoracic radiologist. The ideal candidate will possess significant expertise in all facets of thoracic imaging, including lung cancer staging and treatment, lung cancer screening, and interstitial lung disease, utilizing modalities such as CT and MRI. The role also requires comfort with interpreting general radiology, including radiography, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy. This position is within a collegial group of 24 fellowship-trained radiologists across various subspecialties and six part-time radiologists, practicing in Colorado's Front Range. The team collaborates closely, participating in weekly multidisciplinary conferences with CPMG surgeons, pulmonologists, and oncologists. The role is situated in a Monday-Friday daytime outpatient setting with minimal weekday evening and weekend daytime responsibilities, and no night or overnight work. A hybrid model allowing remote reading is available. There is an opportunity for leadership and administrative roles based on experience and interest, though this is optional.

Requirements

  • Fellowship-trained in Thoracic Radiology
  • Board-certified or board-eligible

Responsibilities

  • Interpret all areas of thoracic imaging, including lung cancer staging and treatment, lung cancer screening, and interstitial lung disease using CT and MRI.
  • Interpret general radiology, including radiography, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.
  • Participate in weekly multidisciplinary conferences with surgeons, pulmonologists, and oncologists.
  • Collaborate with referring colleagues through day-to-day partnered care and interdisciplinary conferences.
  • Practice evidence-based, patient-centered medicine.
