About The Position

Simply Bee Counseling, established in 2018, offers outpatient services including counseling, dietitian support, medication management, and neuropsychological testing, as well as an intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization program onsite in their Vernon Hills, IL office. They also offer outpatient therapy in their Northbrook, IL location. Simply Bee takes a comprehensive and inclusive approach to mental wellness serving children (as young as age 5), adolescents, and adults. Their mission is to transform the mental well-being of individuals with the whole person in mind. They see a wide variety of clients who may be struggling with Eating Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, School Refusal, ADHD, Trauma, Self-Injury, and more. Simply Bee is seeking a clinician who is looking for a combination of independent work within a larger collaborative environment. This clinician would serve their outpatient population of children, adolescents, and adults. The team utilizes a variety of evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ERP, ACT, EFFT, and others, as well as their CEO's own Growth and Resiliency Model(c) to organize their curriculum and support clients.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or related required
• Previous experience with eating disorders and working with children and adolescents strongly preferred
• Previous experience in Higher Level or Care Setting - IOP/PHP/Residential/Hospitals

Responsibilities

• Create a family engagement plan upon admission for each minor client
• Complete weekly clinical charting notes/forms EMR platform
• Document initial assessments, evaluation and development of treatment plans for clients, preparation of discharge summaries and/or continuing care plan
• Reinforce clinical services and adherence to the practice’s standards, values, and quality of care
• Complete one workshop, group, or other clinical contribution in the first year, as well as one volunteer event
• Exhibit company cultural behaviors of the following: informally collaborate in the office with team members, friendly engagement in the office to support our hive culture, and contribute to the hive mind with knowledge and expertise
• Complete weekly communication tracker for family engagement, all external providers, new clients and discharge client tracker document and chart notes
• Participate in mandatory staffing meetings and lead treatment staffing of current cases
• Complete requested administrative information such as timesheet, calendar management, drive organization, etc.
