OUTPATIENT THERAPIST (MA/MSW) Evenings
About The Position
Join our Outpatient team in IOP! We are looking for an energetic, dynamic Master's level social worker. The Therapist counsels individuals and facilitates groups regarding psychological or emotional problems such as stress, substance abuse, or family situations and develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans in a medical setting. The therapist works with the patient and family to create a discharge plan and uses therapeutic interventions to assist the patient in crisis situations. The therapist also participates in the multidisciplinary treatment team to discuss patient care, treatment plan goals, and discharge planning. Arrowhead Behavioral Health is a 48-bed private, free-standing psychiatric hospital located in Maumee, OH, offering a private, confidential, and non-institutional environment conducive to healing and recovery. Requirements
- MSW (Master in Social Work)
- LSW or LISW professional license
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Diplomacy and discretion
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Ability to work productively and independently
- Must follow security and confidentiality guidelines, as well as the policies and procedures of Arrowhead Behavioral Health.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility is preferred, but new graduates excited to learn are welcome.
