About The Position

St. Ann's Home & School, in Methuen, MA, is a leader in special education and residential programming, offering private day programs, child and adolescent residential services, along with a broad range of outpatient services. We are seeking a Master’s level clinician to provide individual and family therapy through St. Ann’s Community Outreach Services. Qualified candidates must be licensed or license-eligible, in either mental health counseling or social work. Outpatient therapists provide individual and family therapy to youth and families throughout the Merrimack Valley. Therapy services are provided in schools, homes, office-based, or via telehealth. Candidates for this position will have a solid foundation of clinical theory and the ability to adapt their approach based on a client’s individual needs. The mission of St. Ann's Home & School is to provide a continuum of assessment, treatment, educational, and community-based services for children, adolescents, and young adults who present with a variety of mental health, emotional, and educational challenges. We seek to provide state-of-the-art programming and services in collaboration with these clients, their families, and other community and state agencies to help them manage their disabilities through our residential, day school, and community outreach programs with the goal of supporting the child in the least restrictive setting.

Requirements

  • Master’s level clinician
  • Licensed or license-eligible, in either mental health counseling or social work
  • Solid foundation of clinical theory
  • Ability to adapt their approach based on a client’s individual needs
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Drive a motor vehicle
  • Write extensively
  • Use the telephone for extended periods of time
  • Climb stairs
  • Lift and carry 11-20 lbs
  • Frequent travel and visits to clients' homes and schools
  • Extensive contact with other agencies, parents, courts, physicians, etc., via telephone and in person
  • Master's degree
  • Driver's License
  • Licensed or License eligible for LMHC or LISCW
