The Outpatient Therapist provides quality individual, couple, family, and/or group therapy focused on the patient's identified diagnosis and needs. This role includes crisis intervention, case management, utilization review, and making appropriate referrals. The therapist will also participate in clinical supervision, peer review, and provide consultation with other professionals. Additionally, the position involves community education, outreach, referral development, and marketing efforts. Accurate and timely documentation, including treatment plans, discharge summaries, and billing records, is essential. The therapist will also assist in treatment development, innovation, and improvements, and participate in performance improvement activities. This role requires the ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate for the age of the patients served, understanding principles of growth and development across the lifespan.
