About The Position

NFS is the premier provider of behavioral health services in the region, experiencing rapid growth and seeking dedicated professionals. NFS Outpatient Therapists collaborate with clients to identify and utilize their strengths, fostering personal growth and potential through various therapeutic approaches including individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy. The role offers a flexible schedule, allowing therapists to create a schedule that works for them, and the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of children, adults, or families. NFS offers competitive rates and incentives for outpatient services provided on-site at one of their five Massachusetts locations. Therapists are W-2 employees, with options for full-time salaried roles or flexible hourly fee-for-service positions. Full-time clinicians receive stable, guaranteed salary compensation, even in the event of client cancellations.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field required
  • Will have Independent Clinical License within 2 years
  • Requires excellent time-management skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage one's own schedule with client outreach
  • Able to work in one of our 5 office locations: North Andover, Dorchester, Fall River, Worcester, West Springfield
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
  • Access to a laptop or CPS, high speed secure internet, and a phone required for FFS positions
  • Access to high speed secure internet required for Full Time positions

Nice To Haves

  • Current license in the state of Massachusetts a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy
  • Conduct intake assessments and determine appropriate levels of care
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that create real change
  • Coordinate care with families, medical providers, and community partners
  • Maintain documentation in our user-friendly EHR system
  • Participate in case consultations and team meetings as needed
  • Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support when necessary
