About The Position

Bridgeway, Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate Outpatient Therapist to join its Behavioral Health Services Division. This full time position provides mental health counseling and therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and groups within our CCBHC outpatient continuum in Galesburg, Illinois. Bridgeway, Inc. is a comprehensive human services organization and a federally designated Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) serving individuals and families across Knox, Warren, Henderson, and Henry Counties in west central Illinois. As a CCBHC, Bridgeway operates at the leading edge of integrated behavioral health — delivering person centered, recovery oriented care across a full continuum that includes outpatient therapy, crisis services, substance use treatment, psychiatric services, and community support. The Outpatient Therapist delivers evidence based clinical care across a broad range of presenting concerns and diagnostic complexity. Working within an interdisciplinary team in a CCBHC environment, this clinician will benefit from strong collegial support, robust community connections, and a clinical infrastructure designed to enable high quality, person centered practice.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active independent clinical licensure in Illinois (LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT) required, or obtainable within a mutually agreed timeframe.
  • Competence in evidence based treatment modalities and strength-based, recovery-oriented approaches.
  • Strong clinical documentation skills and comfort with electronic health records.
  • Valid Illinois driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a community mental health, CCBHC, FQHC, or integrated care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couples/family, and group therapy using evidence based modalities grounded in person centered assessment and consumer-directed treatment planning.
  • Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, formulate DSM 5 diagnoses, and develop individualized, recovery-oriented treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with CCBHC, Rule 132, and CARF standards.
  • Maintain a no show rate at or below 9% through proactive consumer engagement and outreach.
  • Provide crisis assessment and safety planning as needed; serve as backup to the Emergency Services Team.
  • Coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurses, peer specialists, and community partners.
  • Provide consultation and psychoeducation to community partners, schools, and other stakeholders.
  • Meet productivity expectations while maintaining the highest standard of clinical care.
