Outpatient Therapist
About The Position
NFS is the premier provider of behavioral health services in the region, experiencing rapid growth and seeking dedicated individuals to join their team. NFS Outpatient Therapists collaborate with clients to identify and leverage their strengths, enabling them to achieve their best selves and reach their full potential. This is accomplished through various therapeutic approaches including individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy. The role offers flexible scheduling with options for 5 to 30-hour work weeks, and both full-time and Fee-For-Service (FFS) opportunities are available. Clinicians are W-2 employees, with full-time roles offering stable, guaranteed salary compensation, valuing their time and expertise even in cases of client cancellations.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field required
- Will have Independent Clinical License within 2 years
- Requires excellent time-management skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage one's own schedule with client outreach
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
- Access to a laptop or CPS, high speed secure internet, and a phone required for FFS positions
- Access to high speed secure internet required for Full Time positions
Nice To Haves
- Current license in the state of Massachusetts a plus
- Afternoon and evening availability is a plus!
- Able to work in one of our 5 office locations: North Andover, Dorchester, Fall River, Worcester, West Springfield

Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy
- Conduct intake assessments and determine appropriate levels of care
- Develop personalized treatment plans that create real change
- Coordinate care with families, medical providers, and community partners
- Maintain documentation in our user-friendly EHR system
- Participate in case consultations and team meetings as needed
- Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support when necessary
