We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others. We are seeking an Outpatient Therapist - Youth & Family Focus to provide ongoing and developmentally appropriate, evidence based, trauma- and recovery-focused outpatient therapy to clients of Network180’s Outpatient Clinic(s).
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Counseling Psychology.
- Licensure in the State of Michigan as a limited licensed master social worker, marriage and family therapist, OR be eligible for a limited license as stated above and obtain that licensure within one (1) month of hire.
- Specialized training and at least one year of experience in the examination, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of minors and their families.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
- Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment and diagnosis.
- Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice.
- Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry skills.
- Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and concisely in stressful situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities.
Nice To Haves
- Fully licensed MSW, Professional Counselor, Psychologist, or Marriage and Family Therapist.
- Training in and experience with providing Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
- CAADC certification through the Michigan Certificate Board for Addiction Professionals or able to obtain a development plan for the credential.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed theories, principles, and practices (includes multi-faceted understanding of concepts such as community trauma, intergenerational and historical trauma, parallel processes, and universal precautions).
- Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.

- Provide ongoing and developmentally appropriate, evidence based, trauma- and recovery-focused outpatient therapy to clients of Network180’s Outpatient Clinic(s).
